Street Fighter 6 Surpasses 1 Million Players Within Three Days of Its Release

Capcom also revealed that the cumulative sales of the entire series have exceeded 50 million copies.

Capcom has revealed that Street Fighter 6 achieved a player base of over 1 million users within just three days of its release.

The company announced the news on Twitter via Street Fighter's official account adding that the sales of all installments in the series have already reached the mark of 50 million copies.

Capcom has not disclosed the sales numbers for Street Fighter 6, although most likely they are comparable to the number of players as the title is not yet available on subscription services.

Street Fighter 6 was released on June 2 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 and garnered mostly positive reviews. On its launch day, the game drew in an impressive player base of over 65,000 Steam users, showcasing a strong start for a fighting game.

The game also showcased a robust performance right from the start. According to analytics firm GfK, Street Fighter 6 secured an impressive second position on the UK retail chart, trailing only behind The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
