An Ultimate Free Beginner's Course on Unreal Engine 5 Unveiled

The new tutorial series, authored by Bad Decisions Studio, will teach you everything there is to teach about UE5.

Bad Decisions Studio, a creative team led by two brothers, Farhad and Faraz Shabibi, has officially kicked off their new tutorial series, described by the team as an ultimate and "the most complete" beginner's course on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5.

Covering everything from installation and the engine's templates to advanced techniques used by professionals, the newly launched course promises a comprehensive and beginner-friendly approach to mastering UE5. Whether you want to use Unreal for films, games, visuals for events, motion graphics, or ProdViz, the series aims to discuss all of this and more.

Currently, three episodes out of the planned 20 have been released, with the team planning to update the playlist on a regular basis. Moreover, the course is available 100% free of charge and can be accessed via Bad Decisions Studio's YouTube channel:

This is not the first time Bad Decisions Studio impresses us with their endeavors. Earlier, we highlighted the team's detailed tutorial on creating a realistic 3D jungle environment using photogrammetry and Unreal Engine 5:

We also loved their step-by-step guide on creating a custom 3D character model with MetaHuman and animating it with MetaHuman Animator:

And back in October 2023, the studio wowed us with their awesome experiments with 3D Gaussian Splatting and Unreal Engine 5, which they used to turn iconic movie shots into 3D scenes:
