Intro to Prop Modelling for Games is led by Respawn's Principal Environment Artist Ben Keeling.

CGMA is providing a great opportunity to hone your skills with its free course Intro to Prop Modelling for Games, led by Ben Keeling, Lead Environment Artist at Respawn who has worked on Star Wars, Halo, and Suicide Squad. There, you will learn how to create detailed, realistic props for games, like your own robot, and get personalized feedback, although feedback seats are limited.

The course lasts for a month. You'll receive pre-recorded content every week and will be able to ask Keeling questions during weekly live Q&A sessions. The artists will talk about the gaming industry, its history, current trends, and career paths and then move on to a more practical part of making a nature-inspired hard surface robot, completing the course with high poly modeling.
