Plasticity 1.3's Blender Bridge Demonstrated

Several 3D Artists showcased Plasticity's upcoming Blender Bridge add-on, currently available in beta.

Over the past couple of weeks, several digital modelers showcased Plasticity 1.3's Blender Bridge, an upcoming add-on that links Plasticity, Nick Kallen's NURBS-based modeling tool, and Blender, a renowned open-source 3D software.

For those unaware, Plasticity is a neat software for NURBS-based modeling that has been in development for more than two years. First released back in April, the software featured top-of-the-line modeling tools, an intuitive UI, and key bindings similar to those in Blender. The most recent stable version of the app, Plasticity 1.2, was launched in July. It enhanced surfacing workflows and introduced a lot of new features.

Following the release of 1.2, Nick immediately started working on 1.3, a brand-new version of the tool currently available in beta. One of the most notable features of the upcoming release is the aforementioned Blender Bridge, a feature that has already been tried and tested by several 3D artists. Attached below are some of the results shared by the creators, you can learn more about their experiments by visiting the corresponding Twitter pages.
