Microids and What The Prod announced they would be adapting Benoît Sokal's famous Syberia saga as an animated series for young adults.
What The Prod has acquired the rights to adapt the adventure, and Microids will help make sure the adaptation meets the expectations of the series’ fans.
The show will feature Kate Walker, Oscar, the Youkols, and other characters "sharing incredible adventures at the crossroad of the real world and Benoît Sokal’s fantasies."
“My husband would have been honored to witness his work being developed as an animated series. With Syberia, he created a magical and out of time world and I am glad it will reach a new audience with this new adaptation,” said Martine Sokal.
